A journalist and editor with a background in geography and economics, Robert has a longstanding interest in environmental issues. He has written and produced numerous TV and radio programmes, including for BBC World’s Earth Report series, and helped a range of companies and organisations including the Economist Intelligence Unit, the UN Environment Programme and the World Trade Organization convey complex ideas and information in simple, elegant language. Through a small publishing company (Riffle & Pool Press), Robert has worked with East Sussex artists and designers to produce a series of illustrated maps and guides. A keen cyclist – he thinks he’s ridden a bicycle in most weeks since he was five – Robert has campaigned for Eastbourne’s Bespoke Cycle Group since 2012.
