Encouraging East Sussex County Council, in collaboration with Eastbourne Borough Council and bus operators to set up a Quality Bus Partnership (QBP).
Developing skills in political lobbying in order to make our views known to those who have the political power to change modes of transport in the town.
Preparing articles for publication to raise public awareness of transport issues and the need to de-carbonise transport.
Supporting ECO friendly local events such as Walking Festival and Car Free Day.
Responding to government consultations relating to transport and planning, with the aim of achieving environmental and health benefits in a zero-carbon future.
Promoting alternatives to the private car, encourage the use of public transport, walking and cycling.
Consider electric solutions as an alternative to fossil fuel vehicles including electric vehicles, e-bikes, e-scooters and the required e-charging infrastructure.
